Rarity and AJ should switch sides.

Rarity would be in the SE because of the glamour and beauty of canterlot, and AJ would be in the NLR because, well, it's hard to imagine her supporting a tyrant.

its not only the Americans also I agree that Pinkie is awesome but even she can be killed and is it really worth killing pinkie just to try and annoy the president. Humanity aren't monsters and will more than likely try to solve this issue and establish a democracy rather than having just one princess rule

Right, but that in turn brings in the question of how often does a Democracy solve issues? Or more the point of to what extent does a monarchy (VERY specific choice of words there) actually cause problems? In my eyes, both Luna and Celestia have the potential to be good rulers, although Celestia is somewhat less aloof than Luna; but there has never been much in terms of a democratic process in Equestria, so one would be forced to ask if they could establish it without it sinking into corruption? And outside of the Luna/Celstia issue, few ponies have ever been unhappy about the leadership at the present moment, while if Celestia ruled a TYRANNY (From where someone said there was a form of good and bad government in terms of the rules either one, the Few or the Many. A good single gov would be a monarchy, and you I imagine are thinking of a tyranny, which is the bad counterpart. Even demoacracy has one, Democracy is the good rule of many, Ochlocracy would be the example of a bad rule of many, as it is Mob rule).

Sorry about the large amount of text above, I do government and politics as an A level where I live; as for the rest of it, you're quite right, not all of humanity is monstrous, but there's a lot of the bad around. And in no way would I want Pinkie Pie dead. That bit was a joke considering the stuff she does when someone DOES break a pinkie promise...

...Shit, this is getting depressing. Rainbows, happyness and muffins for everyone!

very true but knowing us we would arm the weaker side then when they won we would demand what we wanted and if they refused or attacked us we would then kill them with humans being carnivores as well as a war based species it means that we would be victories against a herbivore and peaceful species if some what xenophobic.

plus we have nukes and several nasty weapons and planes that can reach mach 9.8 as the norm and planes that are even faster. equestria would have no defense against a navel/air invasion dragons would be to slow and fire is not as effective in air where oxygen is less. even ground troops packing tanks and other armored vehicles would be dangerous. People could argue that magic would stop it but magic like a shield if hit hard enough will crumble. The sheer force of a bullet alone would shatter if at the very least exhaust a pony due to the strength and power + speed.
